Decisions made now will have affects lasting 3 years. This is an eternity in the fight against climate change and injustice. How many people can we bring out of poverty and create a better quality of life for in the next 3 years? How many tonnes of CO₂ can we prevent from being released? 3 years is the difference between life and death. We have an opportunity now to recover in a way that decreases inequalities and emissions and strengthens global cooperation. We have an opportunity amongst all this suffering - will we take it?
